Results revealed that EMPA was safe, increased urine output, and decreased a composite endpoint of worsening HF, rehospitalization for HF, or mortality at 60 days, but it did not affect change in visual analog scale (VAS) dyspnoea, diuretic response, N-terminal {NT}-prohormone brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), or length of hospital stay [26]. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hydrops fetalis.
