LEP and cancer: The OR of the L/A ratio [6.0 (95% CI: 3.2–11.9)] was higher than those of leptin alone [3.2 (95% CI: 1.8–5.8)] or adiponectin alone [0.5 (95% CI: 0.3–0.9)], suggesting that L/A ratios in individuals may better indicate cancer growth and proliferation (Ashizawa et al., 2010).
