As in the initial dataset, this analysis shows increased GFP+ B lymphocytes in response to recombinant IL-21 (Figure 1C) in most tonsil specimens examined (Figure 1D), and the difference in GFP+ B lymphocytes with IL-21 treatment compared to control was statistically significant in this cohort of specimens via one-way repeated measures ANOVA(p=0.02, F=6.4).This increase in infection was not associated with alterations in the frequency of viable B cells in the cultures (Supplementary Table 1). The gene discussed is IL21; the disease is infection.
