CFB and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: Serum C3 levels in moderate NAFLD were higher than those in mild NAFLD (MD: 0.27, 95% CI [0.21~0.34], P<0.00001) (Figure 3A); serum ASP levels in moderate NAFLD were higher than those in mild NAFLD (MD: 8.28, 95% CI [4.86~11.70], P<0.00001) (Figure 3B); serum C5 levels in moderate NAFLD were higher than those in mild NAFLD (MD: 9.83, 95% CI [6.22~13.43], P<0.00001) (Figure 3C); and serum CFB levels in moderate NAFLD were higher than those in mild NAFLD (MD: 0.14, 95% CI [0.10~0.18], P<0.00001) (Figure 3D).
