Previous studies have found that HIF 1a and BNIP3L signal pathways play an important role in the pathogenesis of brain diseases such as cerebral ischemia/reperfusion, cerebral hemorrhage, memory ischemia, glioma and Alzheimer’s disease. The expression levels of HIF-1α and BNIP3L are increased. This evidence concerns the gene BNIP3L and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
