In the proteome set containing 1,305 proteins, three proteins—LEP, CCL23, and FAM3D—were significantly associated with preeclampsia outcome (FDR < 0.05, Wilcoxon signed-rank test with Benjamini-Hochberg procedure) identifying one significantly enriched pathway, negative regulation of glucagon secretion (Fisher’s exact test with Benjamini-Hochberg procedure, FDR < 0.05). The gene discussed is GCG; the disease is preeclampsia.
