MME and cancer: Secondary liver cancer is due to liver metastasis caused by other cancers, a process in which tumor cells from other organs migrate to the body and colonize new locations, including adenocarcinoma liver metastasis, colorectal liver metastasis, etc. The expression of CD10 has been correlated with liver metastasis of colorectal cancer (Fujimoto et al., 2005; Fujita et al., 2007) and treatment with Cd10-ASO inhibits CD10 expression and reduces the number and size of liver metastases in nude mice (Luo et al., 2009).
