Classification of serum apolipoprotein B concentrations according to quartiles revealed that serum Apolipoprotein B concentrations were positively associated with the risk of osteopenia or osteoporosis in the Q2 (OR:1.379; 95% CI:1.002, 1.896; p = 0.048) and Q4 (OR:1.494; 95% CI:1.071, 2.084; p = 0.018) intervals of serum apolipoprotein B. The risks of osteopenia and osteoporosis were positively and significantly correlated. Here, APOB is linked to Osteopenia.
