APOB and osteoporosis: When serum apolipoprotein B concentration was used as a continuous variable, the study found that in the fully adjusted covariate model, Mexican American race (β = −0.069, 95% CI: −0.115, −0.023, p = 0.00324), non-Hispanic whites (β = −0.043, 95% CI: −0.076, −0.009), p = 0.01205), non-Hispanic blacks (β = −0.089, 95% CI: −0.137, −0.041, p = 0.00032), and other races (β = −0.065, 95% CI: −0.112, −0.017, p = 0.00746), Apolipoprotein B concentration, and lumbar spine BMD were negatively correlated with osteoporosis, and that this correlation was significant.
