Since December 2020, several COVID-19 vaccines, composed of inactivated SARS-CoV-2, mRNA encoding the full-length spike (S) protein of SARS-CoV-2, viral-vector based vaccine encoding the S protein, or recombinant S proteins, have been applied in human to prevent the pandemic of COVID-19 (22–25). This evidence concerns the gene PROS1 and COVID-19.
