Therefore, this study is aimed at exploring the clinical utility of serum C-X-C motif chemokine 8 (CXCL-8) for CRC diagnosis and progression compared to the routinely used biomarkers, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), and carbohydrate antigen-19-9 (CA19-9).
