IL6 and juvenile polyposis syndrome: A total of 23 reports evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of serum IL-6 for detecting PJI after hip and/or knee replacement, and meta-analysis suggested that, as shown in Fig. 3a, the pooled sensitivity and specificity was 0.76 (95%CI 0.69–0.81) and 0.88 (95%CI 0.82–0.92), respectively.
