Considering that a disturbed stress adaptation is characteristic for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) (Perry and Pollard, 1998; Yehuda, 1998; Kasckow et al., 2001; Rohleder et al., 2010; Deppermann et al., 2014; Dunlop and Wong, 2019), we investigated the role of TRPA1 in this psychopathology. This evidence concerns the gene TRPA1 and post-traumatic stress disorder.
