Because we showed an impairment of insulin maturation in mice infected with CVB3/28 and CVB-TD RNA forms (Figure 3 and Figure 4), we performed infection and transfection of the beta cell line of rodent INS-1, with the CVB3/28 strain at a MOI of 1 and with CVB-FL or CVB-TD synthetic RNA, respectively.
