In our study of 16HBE cells infected with SARS-CoV-2, we found that the level of CXCL10 transcription increased gradually with virus infection progression but that relative expression of ISG15, NF-κB, IFN-α and IFN-β increased within 6 h and then decreased (Figure 1A). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and viral infectious disease.
