We included in our tests a set of cytokines and chemokines with serum concentrations that were shown to increase during COVID-19 [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,41,42], and this increase might also be reflected in breastmilk: TNF-α, IL-6, IFN-β, IL-1β, IFN-γ, IL-2, GM-CSF and IL-5, IP-10. The gene discussed is CXCL10; the disease is COVID-19.
