The main treatment methods for DKD are blood pressure control and blood glucose control, and commonly used drugs include angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI), angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARB), mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs), dipeptidyl peptidase 4(DPP-4) inhibitor glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, and sodium glucose cotransporter 2(SGLT2) inhibition [4,5,6,7,8,9]. Here, DPP4 is linked to diabetic kidney disease.
