[46] demonstrated that mice supplementation with Bacteroides ameliorated endotoxemia, reduced TLR4 expression and activation, and lowered plasma levels of pro-atherogenic cytokines such as IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-17A, INF-γ, and TNF-α.
