Murphy et al. followed a large cohort of PRKAG2 mutation patients and found that by the end of the study period with a mean follow-up interval of 12 years, 17 of the 45 patients (38%) had pacemakers implanted, 7 for atrioventricular block, and 10 for symptomatic sinus bradycardia or chronotropic incompetence.
