High TPS (≥25%) on FFPE was associated with male gender and adverse clinicopathological features (squamous cell histotype, smoker status, wild-type epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) status, large neoplasm size, nodal metastasis, and poor tumor differentiation) and poor prognosis in patients with resected NSCLC. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
