Interestingly, all chondroitins, at the tested concentration, were able to significantly decrease pro-inflammatory biomarkers’ levels, such as IL-6, IL-8 and MCAF (vs. pCTRL, p < 0.05), but BC and CSf treatments also downregulated TNF-α (Figure 2a and Figure 2b, respectively). The gene discussed is CSF2; the disease is breast cancer.
