A follow-up study with the microinjection of the nine miRNAs to wild-type zygote reduced the maternal mRNAs in the early zygote, such as Sirtuin 1 (Sirt1) and Ubiquitin-protein ligase E3A (Ube3a), which were both reported to be involved in chromatin remodeling and neurodevelopmental disorders. This evidence concerns the gene UBE3A and neurodevelopmental disorder.
