INS and Insulin resistance: In conclusion, moderate, high, or alternated training intensity appeared to provide benefits in terms of body composition, physiological and muscular adaptations, and insulin resistance with greater improvements in: (i) body mass, BMI, endurance and strength capacities following high-training intensity; (ii) insulin resistance and homo-IR following moderate training-intensity; and (iii) lean mass and maximal strength performance following alternated-intensity.
