We found that lower expression of the pseudogenes ADAM3A and ADAM5 (Figure 1E) indicated lower relapse-free survival (RFS) in general HNSCC patients (p = 0.002), and higher expression of miR-122b-5p was associated with lower OS in general HNSCC patients (p = 0.002) (Figure 1F). Here, ADAM3A is linked to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
