In the present study, the relationships between phosphatidylserines, apoptosis, and lipid metabolism-related genes, namely, NUAK2 [56] and GSTA1 [57], and PHLDA1 [58,59], suggested that decreased concentrations of phosphatidylserines may protect against apoptosis-induced inflammation and obesity in the adipose tissue. The gene discussed is GSTA1; the disease is Obesity.
