By detecting the expression levels of pyroptosis-related proteins such as GSDMD, caspase-1, and their cleaved fragments in the ovaries of the three groups of mice, it was found that the expression levels of pyroptosis-related proteins in the ovaries of PCOS mice were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the expression level of pyroptosis proteins was significantly lower in CYA-treated mice than in the PCOS group (Figure 3B,C). Here, CASP1 is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
