CDKN2A and familial atypical multiple mole melanoma syndrome: The germline variants have been associated with HNC, such as CDKN2A (cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A), FAMMM (familial atypical multiple mole melanoma syndrome), and ATR (ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related) genes, which are involved with oropharynx cancer in families presenting with skin, breast, and cervical cancers.
