In our study, TLR5 was up-regulated after E. coli infection as a consequence of both NFKB1 and CXCL8 increases; furthermore, 48 h of colosEV incubation significantly down-regulated TLR5, demonstrating the capabilities of these vesicles to interact with the molecular mechanism behind the E. coli intimate adhesion. Here, NFKB1 is linked to escherichia coli infection.
