Particularly, the genes YAP1 and WWTR1 are identified to be rearranged in certain subtypes of sarcomas and in other unrelated tumor types, such as supratentorial ependymoma (YAP1::MAMLD1, YAP1::FAM118B), cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (YAP1::SS18), poroma/porocarcinoma (YAP1::MAML2, YAP1::NUTM1), or NF2-wild type meningioma (YAP1::MAML2, YAP1::FAM118B, YAP1::PYGO1, YAP1::LMO1) [62].
