We found that GALR1, but not GALR2 and GALR3, relative immunoreactivity (comparing submucosal plexuses close to CRC cells vs. plexuses distant from cancer invasion) correlate with the overall survival of CRC patients (p = 0.0115 and HR = 4.97; Figure 8A; Table 3) and clinical-pathological data of CRC patients. Here, GALR1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
