Additionally, compared with adjacent normal tissues, EIF4G1 mRNA expression was observed to be increased in other 14 types of cancers, including bladder urothelial carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, esophageal carcinoma, head and neck cancer, renal papillary cell carcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, prostate adenocarcinoma, rectum adenocarcinoma, stomach adenocarcinoma, thyroid carcinoma, uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma (Figure 2b).
