CD4 and neoplasm: Most importantly, median overall survival was more than double historical controls (12.2 months vs. 5.6 months, 95% CI 8.0–16.4) and immunohistochemistry staining 2–9 months after administration of G207 revealed marked recruitment of tumor infiltrating CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in tissue that was previously void of these cells, suggesting G207 turned immunologically “cold” tumor tissue hot [84, 113].
