HLA-DQB1 and myeloid sarcoma: A similar study in African Americans, containing a small subset of the samples in the current study, also identified HLA-DRB1*15:01 as the predominant signal, finding no effect of HLA-DQB1*06:02 in the absence of HLA-DRB1*15:01; however, the study included only ~350 patients with MS and ~300 controls, and less than 25 individuals were identified as being HLA-DRB1*15:01- and HLA-DQB1*06:02+ in either the patient or control cohort [11].
