Over 50% of all PCa tumors bare an amplification in the 3q26.31-32 locus, a genetic region on chromosome 3 known for its high density of oncogenes including NAALADL2 and TBL1XR1. Copy number (CN) gains of these genes are associated with their increased expression, consistent with the mechanism of self-regulating expression. Here, NAALADL2 is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
