COL1A1 and breast cancer: This is consistent with our data-mining results from The Metastatic Breast Cancer Project (cBioPortal, Figure 5c) and The Proteomic Landscape of Triple Negative Breast Cancer database (zucchini.gs.washington.edu/BreastCancerProteome, Figure 5d), where high levels of Col1a1 genetic alterations, especially amplifications, or protein expression were found in invasive human breast cancer samples.
