PGR and breast cancer: Furthermore, a study involving 472 patients with stage I, II, and III BC in Japan showed that green tea consumption was negatively correlated to numbers of axillary lymph node metastases among pre-menopausal patients with stage I and II BC, but positively correlated to the expression of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PgR) among post-menopausal patients.
