Compared with the corresponding normal samples, MACC1 expression was significantly higher in 20 types of cancer, namely BLCA, breast cancer (BRCA), cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), CHOL, COAD, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBC), esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), glioblastoma multiforme(GBM), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), lower grade glioma (LGG), LUAD, ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), READ, STAD, testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), THCA, thymoma (THYM), UCEC, and uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS). This evidence concerns the gene MACC1 and carcinoma of esophagus.
