Shi et al. (2018) revealed that upregulation of MEG3 significantly increased the transactivation of p53, modulated the expression of downstream proteins, and suppressed the proliferation, invasion, and migration of tumor cells. Recently, similar results indicated that MEG3 might effectively suppress the development of osteosarcoma cells and boost cell apoptosis by inhibiting the activation of the intracellular Notch signaling pathway (Chen et al., 2020). Here, MEG3 is linked to osteosarcoma.
