NFKB1 and acute kidney injury: In summary, the in vivo and in vitro data of our studies revealed that ANXA1 (Ac2-26) attenuated CLP- or LPS-induced inflammation and apoptosis, accompanied by the inhibited phosphorylation of PI3K and AKT and downregulated levels of NF-κB in kidney tissue and HK-2 cells, which might contribute to the protective effect of ANXA1 (Ac2-26) on SI-AKI.
