Several research reports have demonstrated that the CSMD3 mutation is correlated with favorable survival and one report introduced a case of high-grade serous ovarian cancer with CSMD3 mutated exhibited a long-term response to anti-PD1 without prior chemotherapy71. NSD1 mutation is also suggested to be a favorable biomarker correlated with favorable survival in HPV negative HNSCC, and its loss-of-function increases sensitivity to cisplatin72. This evidence concerns the gene CSMD3 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
