It has been reported that LACTB expression has been significantly down-regulated by promoter methylation, histone deacetylation, and several microRNAs (miRNAs) in various cancers, including breast cancers, uterine cancer, colorectal cancers, gliomas, melanomas, hepatocellular carcinomas, and oxaliplatin-resistant gastric cancer [24–29]. Here, LACTB is linked to breast cancer.
