STAT3 signal could promote the growth of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by promoting angiogenesis, cell survival, cancer cell stem cells, so STAT3 could affect tumorigenesis by controlling the survival, apoptosis and cell cycle of cancer cells, the activation of STAT3 can promote the secretion of proinflammatory cytokines, growth factors and chemokines (Parakh et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene STAT3 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
