In our center, the general immunotherapy program for patients with MOG antibody-positive pediatric autoimmune encephalitis without demyelination is intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG, 400 mg/kg/day for 5 days) followed by sequential administration of intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP, 15–20 mg/kg/day for 3–5 days) and oral prednisone (OP, 1.5–2.0 mg/kg/day). The gene discussed is MOG; the disease is autoimmune encephalitis.
