We conducted the following study to investigate the ability of CAY10500, a TNF-α inhibitor that prevents binding to the TNF receptor 1, to produce anticancer effects against hepatocellular carcinoma experimentally induced in rats and to discover its effect on nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1). The gene discussed is HMOX1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
