PF4 and Guillain-Barre syndrome: Interestingly, adenoviral-vectored vaccines have been previously associated with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (75)—which is largely driven by aberrant autoantibodies (29)—and thrombotic thrombocytopenia, mediated by platelet-activating antibodies against PF4 (76); from our analysis, adenoviral-vectored formulations resulted in major amounts in NMOSD cases and all ATM with a cranial nerve palsy.
