We also explored the correlation between the risk score and 22 immune cell types; the results are shown as a dot plot in Fig. 5B. Moreover, the risk score was remarkably correlated with multiple immune cell infiltration in patients with ccRCC, such as Tregs (R = 0.388, p < 0.001), monocytes (R = −0.308, p < 0.001), activated CD4 memory T cells (R = 0.308, p < 0.001), CD8 T cells (R = 0.146, p = 0.006), follicular helper T cells (R = 0.277, p < 0.001), and M2 macrophages (R = −0.212, p < 0.001; Fig. 5C–H). Here, CD8A is linked to nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
