The metabolic network of ovarian cancer patients showed that patients with poor prognosis have high expression of Gln catabolism-related genes, including GLS1, GDH, aspartate aminotransferase 1 (GOT1) and GOT2, and tricarboxylic acid cycle-related genes [such as Pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH), citrate synthase (CS), aconitase (ACO2) and succinate dehydrogenase (SDHB)]. This evidence concerns the gene GOT1 and ovarian cancer.
