Human exposure to the potent AHR agonist TCDD increases the risk of developing neuropathologies, cancers, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and neurodevelopmental disorders (Pocchiari et al., 1979; Assennato et al., 1989; Signorini et al., 2000; Kim et al., 2003; Pavuk et al., 2003; Mocarelli et al., 2008; Pesatori et al., 2009; Eskenazi et al., 2010; Warner et al., 2011; Nishijo et al., 2014; Pham et al., 2015; Tran et al., 2016).
