To detect the expression of chemerin and CMKLR1 in human endometriosis, we analyzed the transcript data in the Turku endometriosis database (https://endometdb.utu.fi/) (GEO accession: GSE141549), and results showed that transcript levels for chemerin and CMKLR1 in endometriotic tissues from five locations (peritoneal, sacrouterine ligament, rectovaginal, DIE, and ovarian lesions) were consistently enhanced compared to the healthy endometrium (Figure 1A). Here, CMKLR1 is linked to endometriosis.
