High- or medium-intensity staining (Fig. 2C) was observed in the tumor tissues of glioma, head and neck, thyroid, colorectal, endometrial, liver, urothelial, lung, pancreatic cancers, and lymphomas, indicating that the FAT1 protein was significantly overexpressed in the tumor tissues of these diseases. This evidence concerns the gene FAT1 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
