As shown in Fig. 4 and Supplementary Data 8, several of the 13 loci associated with HFrEF and HFpEF also demonstrated genetic associations with risk factors as previously reported (PHACTR1, LPA, and CDKN2B-AS with CAD; CDKN1A with AF); and FTO with BMI, T2D, and HDL cholesterol. This evidence concerns the gene PHACTR1 and coronary artery disorder.
